That’s what the headline read.
This was the way it was reported by Axios. The reporter Orion Rummier. The problem with people reporting stories like this is the headline has a heavy lean towards fiction. And most people won’t read past the headline. It is so obvious that they are trying to control the way we think and perceive things. And the shame is that most of us don’t care enough to go out and find out for ourselves.
I believe Paul Harvey said it best when he said “….and here’s the rest of the story”. The parts of the story that are true. Three Florida congresswoman did try to go down and try to enter the Homeland Facility. No, this is three congresswomen their entourage, security and all the reporters that are following them around Trying to find something that they can put a leftist spin on.
Homestead facility is one of the largest detention facilities in the United States. This is a private for-profit organization. Because of the nature of the business. They have stringent security requirements in place. These requirements are policy and procedure. When the Congresswomen decided they wanted to show up for an impromptu tour. Of course they were denied.
They were also told that’s if they had made an appointment or had scheduled this correctly the tour through the facility weapon no problem. Process of simple you fill out some forms or wait two weeks.
So I guess we’re back at that same old friend of mine. Entitlement, entitlement, and more entitlement. These congresswomen believe that just because out there status or position that they should be given unfettered access to a facility that’s cast with the responsibility and care of minors.
I am not making any judgment or decision about the Homeland facility. All I’m saying is that any opportunity that mainstream media has to take our attention off of the real issues. We end up with shit like this.
