By now we’re all aware that Congress has subpoenaed the unredacted Mueller Report. US Attorney General William Barr has not complied with the request for the unredacted Mueller Report. Now US Attorney General William Barr faces Congressional contempt charges.
On the surface, it may appear that the refusal to produce the report and its unredacted form is in an effort to hide something. This is the way the media wants to paint the picture. They want you to believe that nobody has access to the unredacted Mueller Report with the exception of Mueller and US Attorney General William Barr.
This is completely untrue. So let’s start with the request for the unredacted Mueller Report. Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure, Rule 6 and 7. Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure rule 6 first. Rule 6 of the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure States:

“Unless these rules provide otherwise, the following persons must not disclose a matter occurring before the grand jury:
(i) a grand juror;(ii) an interpreter;
(iii) a court reporter;(iv) an operator of a recording device;
(v) a person who transcribes recorded testimony;
(vi) an attorney for the government; or
(vii) a person to whom disclosure is made under Rule 6(e)(3)(A)(ii) or (iii).”

Following Rule 6 is Rule 7 which states: A knowing violation of Rule 6, or of any guidelines jointly issued by the Attorney General and the Director of National Intelligence under Rule 6, may be punished as a contempt of court.
What Congress is doing is trying to force US Attorney General William Barr to break the federal law by producing the unredacted Mueller Report. At this point, it should become painfully clear that this is just a show. Congress knows that they cannot legally request the unredacted report yet they are. Technically, by letter of the law, that makes every member of Congress who voted to hold US Attorney General William Barr in contempt, guilty of solicitation of a felony.
This even goes on to make less sense because every member of Congress has access to the Mueller Report and its unredacted form. If they really wanted to know what happened during the investigation all they have to do is schedule a time to read the report. When you hear the congressman or congresswoman asking questions about redacted portions of the report, this is all a show. If they actually wanted to know again they could see for themselves.
As Americans should be extremely pissed off. The obvious partisanship is embarrassing for us as a country. We should not be concerned about Democrats or Republicans we should be concerned about US Citizens.
Every single one of us should be asking the same question. WTF RU Doing?
